Bra Drama!

We missed a few Sundays and are sending Greetings to you for the time we have not been in touch. Breast wishes!!!!
We want to keep you a-breast of what we have been up to.
Our Bridal Expo booth was a stunner and our TEAM did a FANTASTIC job. Kudos Ladies and our Trophy Male! Super Job!
More than that we must thank all who visited our booth and of course we are also happy we could have shared the space with some other special service providers. In particular, Claudia Pegus Designs whose Gowns were STUNNING as usual. Well done Lady!
So what have your bras been up to lately? Here's trusting that things are in place and that you are having an uplifting experience even as you read.
Let's explore the most embarrassing moment you have had at the "hands" (cups, straps and hooks) of your bra. Have you ever had the sliding bras strap (SBS) while you are wearing the most beautiful short-sleeved blouse? What about the plastic strap (PSP) that suddenly went "pop" and caused you to run for cover or the real drama when the pin you were holding the bra up with suddenly came loose and stuck you (PS) while in mid sentence with your boss or on the phone with a client.
Funny, while these occurrences may seem to be unique to you, hear this, you are not alone. I repeat (not too loud; sorry for the volume my Dears) YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

IWD 2010 - Thank You

I hope everyone took the time to celebrate IWD 2010 in any tiny way that you possibly could. We had a very intimate event at Ms. Brafit and it was so beautiful to share with women from all walks of life and to share stories, experiences and most of all each other's company.
We are still celebrating, as every day is Women's Day at Ms. Brafit LLC.
Our specially invited presenters were great and so I must thank them. Hats off to another great event at Suite One - Ms. Brafit's official Fitting Shoppe.
We opened our event with a lovely introduction of each feature guest as well as a little getting to know you session.
Thank you to Maxine for her super help and her experience. My thanks to Marie for her great talk on Skin Care and her make up demonstrations. Two beautiful ladies benefited from the pampering Marie offered and were made up and ready for a great evening out.
Thanks to Marilyn for her impromptu talk on Fitness. Marilyn, if you pass me one more time on that Savannah.....you will give me the ultimate complex. :-)
Dianne Job!!! Dianne Job!!! Dianne Job! Thank you very much for BOOST-ing every one of the women who were present. I cannot tell you how many positive comments came out of that room.
Every woman was treated to a full Bra Fitting and Body Analysis as part of the package and they were all excited to finally become aware of their true bra sizes and to see the difference and experience the overall comfort a good fit makes. Thanks Ladies! I continue to do a great job with the Foundations and was selected Fitter of the Month - March (a humbling accolade) by the world's #1 Mastectomy Care Corporation. What a lovely day with home blended Sangria made by none else than Ms. Brafit herself. Loaded with all the fresh local fruits of the season. How refreshing....Marie, the "juice" was great......Marie enjoyed our Sangria so much she thought it was juice until she got a buzz. :-) Marie, thanks!
I want to thank our catering partners. Rachel, those muffins are delish! I tried to stop my left hand from going into the box but then my right hand was already in it. We shall keep telling the world about your great stuff.
German's catered the most delicious soups and authentic Guyanese Pepper Pot for us. What a treat, thanks so much!

International Women's Day 2010
Happy International Women's Day 2010. What a BEAUTIFUL DAY!
We had a lovely programme in store for our guests today who came from far and wide to share with us, from as early as 11am. Our visitors included a former Beauty Contestant who still looks beautiful and who was here "for the day" as she stated upon her arrival.
Our first visitor was able to get her one on one sessions and this was followed by light snacks of our specially brewed Teas and exciting Muffins courtesy Raggamuffins (Thanks Rachel).
The morning progressed and we saw our dear friend Maxine arrive to help make sure that the day was smooth and that all had a good time.
We then had the arrival of our Performance Architect and Life Coach - Dianne, who came to add her personal touch to BOOST every woman present.
Madge brought her team of Ladies and they had a great time with the make up demo which was provided by Marie. Thanks Marie.
This going on while the entire room was abuzz with laughter, conversation and lovely food. Oh and the Ladies!
We got loads of compliments for our HOME MADE Sangria, yes I am great at this and this is becoming a signature at Ms. Brafit events because everyone likes my special blend and the exciting colour. Don't play!!!
We all got a chance to present to our guests, and we all introduced ourselves and had a really fine time being in such an intimate setting with lovely people, good food and of course the vibes!
In comes German's Restaurant with their signature Soups and Pepperpot which was the highlight of the afternoon. Our guests had a lovely tasting of Soup and Pepperpot and they are still commenting on the lovely flavors. Madge and her crew are ready for Saturday visits to German's so I must warn German's that they need to make room for Royalty! Thanks to the Management and Staff of German's Restaurant in St. James.
Our Mini Bra Fit Seminars ware FANTASTIC and we had a great time doing our other Demonstrations which were very beneficial to all our guests. Thanks for allowing us to share this with you.
Of course the party never heats up til Sandy Lu and her CREW arrive so in comes Sandy Lu and her team and the party swings into gear and we know its not about to end soon. What a lovely time! Sandy Thanks Dear!!!!!! You are so very special!

The Carnival Countdown is here! But wait! Don't forget Valentines Day. Do any of you remember Carnival and Valentines being on the same day a few years ago?.....Ooooooh, Love was all over the streets and flowed all through the band. I got roses delivered to me in the band(hmmmmmm). Imagine prancing with a rose in my hand for the rest of the day? Smooches were everywhere......Trinis are a loving people after all. Drinks, love, roses and a costume? Hey, just party hard anyway. This week is exciting. Happy Valentines Day (in advance) to all of you. Celebrate love 365 but if you must, please enjoy Feb 14.
Well, on the Carnival Circuit, this week we look forward to dressing comfortably for the parties. So, how do we measure confidence for Carnival purposes? For starters, if you have to pull that bra up one more time, you should use it as a bandage. Sorry but we were not meant to be uncomfortable for the sake of Fashion or Carnival. Its all about SUPPORTING the GIRLS.
Ladies the countdown has started. We don't want you to be nursing your bra bruises come Ash Wednesday.

Sunday Wash Wish

Welcome to a new week and hopefully less stress with the bras. How do we plan to celebrate the bra and the rest of our intimate apparel this week?
Well, it will be nice to ensure that we take advantage of the sunny tropical weather for those of us in the tropics and do the bra wash outdoors today. Hand wash and hang them out and let the rays of sun illuminate each fibre and of course let them dry naturally (don't leave them out to spend the entire day and please let them come in for the night). For our "not so warm weather readers", do a gentle wash indoors and place them on hangers and let them dry in the bathroom.
When they are dried, fold them neatly and pack them away in a drawer. A little bit of your kitchen ingredients can keep them nice and fresh. Get about 3 cinnamon sticks and put them in the drawer between your items this week. Next week you can try another spice and keep the undie drawer cooking!
Remember, our intimate apparel needs tons of care.

Happy International Women's Day 2010. What a BEAUTIFUL DAY!

It is amazing how time flies.
We turn 7 years on May 25th 2009 and will like to thank all our clients, friends and well-wishers.

The Perfect Swimsuit requires patience and an understanding of what will suit your body type and flatter your figure.
The best way to choose a swimsuit will be to consider what your swimming activity entails most.

What do these captioned items and events all have in common?
There is a thin and sometimes seamless line between comfortable foundation garments/lingerie and the event that we attend; be it playing mas on the road on Monday and Tuesday or hitting a few All Inclusive parties.
